My two grandchildren now call me "Dap" and my husband chose "Grandpa Dusty" because of his gray hair. My license plate reads "DAPIAM" like Sam I Am in Green Eggs and Ham!
– dapiam I am Mom Mom Pumpkin Face because I have called her pumpkin face since she was born 2 years ago. – helenandjohn |

MY ANGEL CAME UP WITH HER OWN NAME DIDNT HAVE TO PICK ONE IM JUST NANNY AND PAW PAW WE LOVE IT
We already had a couple of Grandmas and a Mema, in our family I knew one more would be too confusing. I still had 2 teenage boys at home who think picking on mom is a pro sport, so in order not to be called "Granny Annie", I came up with the name Gams, my granddaughter loves it, it is very unique, and it makes me sound like I have good looking legs!
Gams
When my son married in his late 20's to a woman who already had two sons she asked the boys what they wanted to call me. The youngest being 3 popped up and said Nami (Na-me). Of course my daughter-in-law picked the spelling.
Sorry, but none of these can hold a candle to Grannypants. Signed...Grannypants Hume
