Including Jerimiah Wright as a "celebrity who was a member of the armed forces" is to include Benedict Arnold in a list of "patriots who were members of the continental army. " Considering the named celebrities, some of whom some fought just to get into the service, whose bravery under fire was above and beyond what is expected of our brave military, Jeremiah Wright, is a disgrace to his country and the military. Under the misnomer of "Reverend," he spent his life and made his fortune on hate mongering, racism, fraudulent Christianity, anti America hate speech and match maker for gay black men to marry black women under the guise of Black Liberation Theology as a form of Chrisitianity. He's nothing for which we, the people, nor the military can or ought to be proud.

The list clearly says "SURPRISING CELEBS"? It isn't a list of every celeb who ever served.

The long list from ronb28135 is interesting. I would add George Gobel - comedian Lonesome George was a flight instructor in Army Air Corps. Correction on Eddie Albert - Ltjg. Edward Albert Heimberger was in US Navy Reserve (not Coast Guard) when he served on USS Sheridan APA-51 at the Tarawa invasion. He was in charge of the Salvage Boat - read his report at /www.usssheridanapa51.com/Action_Reports/Tarawa_Action_Report.pdf
