Apple Crumble Pie

8 Granny Smith apples, peeled, sliced
1/4 cup sugar
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 premade pie shell
1 cup flour
1 cup sugar
1 teaspoon baking powder 
 Dash of salt
1 egg, beaten
1 cup unsalted butter, melted (or 1/2 cup, if preferred)

1. Preheat oven to 350°F.

2. In a medium bowl, combine 1/4 cup sugar and cinnamon. Toss with apples until completely covered. Spoon apples into pie shell.

3. In a separate bowl, mix flour, 1 cup sugar, baking powder, and salt. Sift three times.

4. Stir egg into flour mixture until mixture forms large crumbs. Toss mixture over apples; be careful not to crush crumbs. Pour melted butter on top, covering crumbs. Bake 1 hour. Serve warm with ice cream.

Serves 6 to 8
