The network’s “Resident Foodie” is an affable, accessible presence in the kitchen, which explains why his new cookbook is named, simply, In the Kitchen with David (Ballantine). Featuring a foreword by Paula Deen, the book is full of comfort food recipes that are warm, welcoming, and family friendly – much like Venable himself.
