Larry on his most embarrassing moments:

Martha Stewart and Rachel Ray both had me go on their shows in an attempt to cook with them. With Martha Stewart I had to put frosting on top of a holiday cake and managed to spill it all over everything. I am a terrible—I’m lost in a kitchen. I don’t know how to make coffee. I’m just lost, and with Rachel Ray I had to scramble something on her show and a salad and I goofed. Everything flew up in the air—I’m a basket case. So...and then I went on another show once...a food show...where they asked me to put a dumpling in something. I will never do...I love these shows I’m happy to appear on them, I'd be happy to have them as guests on mine. However, I will never attempt to cook on a show again. It is totally embarrassing to me. I once, this is a true story, years ago...I was living in Miami. I was single and I went out and bought frozen bagels and they said, “place in the oven and preheat to 350.”  I placed the whole package in the oven, then I went into the bathroom...I hear fire alarms and there was a fire in the building.Tthe fire was in my kitchen where I had placed the entire thing in—the package burnt because you are supposed to take it out of the box. If you are inviting me over for dinner makes sure you have pre-cooked for dinner.
