Bacon and eggs for breakfast is nice. But bacon and eggs for dinner? Hands down, it’s one of our favorite things in the world.
That’s why we loved Breakfast for Dinner (Quirk), the beautiful, mouth-watering new cookbook from Love and Olive Oil bloggers Lindsay Landis and Taylor Hackbarth. The husband and wife team created and compiled dozens of truly tasty morning meals suitable for 6pm, from A (Andouille Shrimp and Grits) to W (White Chocolate and Blueberry Tart).
The photos alone are worth the price of admission, but if you must make a dish or three (and we suggest you do), these recipes are good places to start. Each one takes a traditional food – hamburgers, fried rice, and banana bread – and switches them up with savory and sweet breakfast ingredients. They’re a wonderful way to greet the … er, evening.
