Hut’s Hamburgers, which opened its doors in 1939, is a Texas favorite. In 2011, its signature food was named "Texas’ Best Burger" by The Austin Chronicle. All of Hut’s, hamburgers are made from locally raised beef — you can also substitute beef for chicken, buffalo, longhorn or veggie burgers — and come dressed in a variety of ways. From the Big Bopper (mayo, lettuce and tomato) to the Beach Boy’s favorite (pineapple, Swiss cheese, mayo, lettuce and bell peppers), there’s something on the menu for everyone. On Wednesdays Hut’s offers Hamburger Happy Hours with 2-for-1 burger specials.
