It’s only five acres in size, but there’s a lot going on in Adventuredome. The theme park, which sits next the Circus Circus Hotel on the strip, has over 10 thrill rides and 20 attractions, including the world's largest indoor double-loop, double-corkscrew roller coaster. If you and the kids need something a little bit calmer, then take them on a pretend hot air balloon ride. The Drifters Ferris Wheel will gently carry them up and around.

The Bellagio Fountains are the perfect backdrop for everything taking place on the Vegas strip. They’re elegant, stunning, and the orchestrated water show is like magic before your eyes. Your grandkids will love the different water dances and routines, as the fountains perform to an array of opera, classical, and Broadway music.

When the Hoover Dam was constructed in 1931, no structure of its kind had ever been attempted before. Today, the dam receives more than one million visitors a year! Although most are attracted to the immensity of it all (your grandkids will appreciate this too), the dam’s artistic design and surrounding statues, make it a cultural hot spot. (These were later added in honor of the workers that passed away during its construction.) Be sure to take advantage of the tour packages, sold separately from the general admissions.

Las Vegas is all about excitement and doing the unthinkable – even with your grandkids in tow. Stratosphere delivers the heart-pounding thrills and shrieks that’ll make this trip a memorable one. Take a leap from the 108th floor on the popular SkyJump, or even more daringly, at 64 feet over the edge of the Tower (at a height of over 900 feet) with the Insanity Ride. Anyone 15 years or younger must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.

It’s only natural for Las Vegas to have its own Natural Museum of History! With its already beautiful, rocky and mountain terrain, the city has a full history of wildlife stories and greenery. Your grandkids will particularly like the museums prehistoric and Dinosaur collections. Just wait until they meet the Dinosaur Mummy, Leonardo, the 23-foot plant-eater was naturally mummified before it was turned into a fossil.

Long before the popular Las Vegas strip, there was the Las Vegas Springs Preserve, or "The Land of Northern Mysteries," as labeled on Spanish maps. This beautiful land, however, was indeed occupied by ancestors of the Yuman groups and Numa (Paiutes).  Although European explorers soon transformed the area, along with the actual Las Vegas strip and a midcentury boom, the Springs retain their resourceful flow today. Your grandkids will love exploring the preserve. Plus. there are garden workshops, trails, and other amazing adventures.

The Conservatory and Botanical Garden, located in the elegant Bellagio Hotel, adds a different touch of class to this location’s already luxurious attractions. Enjoy a live musical performance by classical and jazz guitarists, offered every evening, or ask questions about the garden during a morning Q&A sessions with Mr. and Ms. Green Thumb. The garden’s most fascinating treat are the flowers and plants on display. Each plants, flowers and trees presentation are inspired by different seasons, whether the holidays, Chinese New Year, spring, summer and fall.
