How To Play Red Light, Green Light

One person directs a human traffic jam of stopping and starting. The first player to advance across the finish line is the winner.

requires
At least 4 people, but more people make for more fun

game play
One player, designated It, stands at one end of the playing field while the rest of the players stand in a horizontal line at the opposite end. When It calls out "Green Light," the other players run as fast as they can toward It. At any point while the players are running, It may yell out "Red Light," and anyone who fails to stop completely must return to the starting line. Calling out "Red Light" and "Green Light" is entirely up to It.

objective
The first person to reach the end line is the winner and becomes It. Have fun, but run safely!

make it more fun
Throw in a "Yellow Light" diversion where the players must walk — no running allowed.
