Diary of a Wimpy Kid

If your grandsons have not heard of this book and its sequels yet, you are about to become the world’s greatest grandparent. Every preteen boy I know is wild for this bestselling series, and for good reason: The books are sharp, funny, and just plain great. Boys can identify with Greg Heffley, the title character, who is just starting middle school, and who documents all of the unexpected things he finds there in terrific drawings and prose.
