In a word, awesome. The options on this Lazer Tag Multiplayer Battle System are plentiful. Grandchilden can switch to "Solo‚" when it's just a 1-on-1 game, or "Team‚" when there are multiple players. They can play a short game in which 10 hits means they're out, or opt for a lengthier skirmish by switching to 25 hits. Instead of the targets being part of a vest that players had to wear with earlier versions, this game's weapons light up and shake when a player has been hit. There are indoor and outdoor options to switch the laser from being more focused (indoors) to scattered (outdoor). What happens when there's only one player? That's where the Lazer Tag's true innovation lies: it comes with an adapator you can plug into the TV and play as a video game. The weapon is fairly heavy, so younger players might get a little arm-weary after extended play.
