The Draw:
TREASURES is Smugglers' wonderful child-care center. Professional caregivers welcome babies and toddlers into a nurturing environment. For kids, 2 to 3 years old, there's the Little Rascals on Snow program that gets them accustomed to ski equipment and to the sensation of gliding. Though it’s a world-class skiing and hiking paradise, offering cross-country skiing and snowshoeing, too, it also provides soft adventures for those who want to get a massage, practice yoga, or take art, health, and wellness classes. In summer, guests swim in eight different pools with waterslides, or in a reservoir with a huge floating trampoline. Mount Mansfield, Smugglers' Notch State Park, Burlington, and Stowe are nearby.

Insider Tip:
Always contact the hotel in advance to reserve baby gear and arrange for babysitters.
