Share your Family's Stories on Grandparents.com

We're seeking a grandmother and her daughter or daughter-in-law who can share how they keep the generations humming

by The Editors

Have you ever thought that you and your daughter or daughter-in-law should star in your own reality show? Do extended family members always gather around the dinner table to hear your stories of familial teamwork (or conflict)? Are you certain that you have advice to share with other grandmothers, if only someone would give you the chance?

Now you have the chance.

This fall, Grandparents.com is seeking mother-in-law/daughter-in-law or mother/daughter teams who want to share their multigenerational experiences with our audience of hundreds of thousands. We'll work with you to create a short series of columns about how you get along, how you sometimes squabble, and most of all, how you make loving, happy homes for your grandchildren.

How to Enter

Send your name, email address, hometown, and phone number, plus your daughter or daughter-in-law's name, email address, and hometown, to grannydiary@grandparents.com.

In your email, tell us what makes you and your daughter or DIL a great team, along with a little about the conflicts you face and how you get past them (or don't). Your note doesn't have to be long; just a few sentences to introduce yourselves.

The deadline to apply is September 26, 2011.

In the weeks ahead, we'll follow up with a small group of candidates to talk about the next step in our search.

Thanks, and good luck!
