Founded more than a century ago as part of the American Arts & Crafts movement, Pewabic Pottery moved to its current location several years later; in 1991 it was declared a National Historic Landmark. In addition to rotating exhibits of contemporary ceramic arts, Pewabic also offers pottery summer camps and weekend workshops for grandchildren ages four and older. The galleries and gift shop here are top notch, and the ambiance of the pottery creates a sense of living history
