Most Saturday afternoons, Detroit Puppet Theater at the PuppetART Center offers up one of the works in their repertory of shows featuring puppets of a wide variety, representing many different cultural traditions of puppetry. Check to see if a puppet-making workshop is scheduled for a time that you're able to visit, or participate in the post-show workshop on Saturday with the grandchildren.
