The Theatre for Young America (TYA) is a splendid option for grandparents looking for age-appropriate theatre for young grandchildren. In Kansas City, the company has been presenting professional productions for children for more than 30 years. Often, the plays coincide with issues of interest in the curriculum of the city's public schools. Each play has an age-appropriate designation, so you don't have to worry about selecting the wrong one.
