In Vegas, as in Venice, you and your grandchildren can ride on a real gondola with a singing gondolier. Even locals should take advantage of the Strip now and then, and enjoy this charming trip past the Grand Canal Shoppes at the Venetian. You can take the trip at anytime, but reservations are required if you want a singing gondolier.

Info: Indoor rides, adults $16 (gondola seats four), private two-passenger gondola $64; outdoor rides, adults $16 (gondola seats four), private two-passenger gondola $64

Hours: Sunday to Thursday 10am to 11pm, Friday and Saturday 10am to 12pm

Age: Elementary (5-9), Tween (9-12), Teen (12+)
