Take your grandchildren to the top of the Stratosphere Tower, if only for the view. It is the tallest free-standing structure in Nevada, and the second-tallest of its kind west of the Mississippi. Your alternative is to visit the Kennecott Smokestack in Magna, Utah, so climb the Stratosphere instead. And if you or your grandchildren are true lovers of rollercoasters and thrill rides, the Big Shot that rockets riders 160 feet straight up at more than 4 G's, the giant teeter-totter that takes you 27 feet over the edge of the Tower, and the Insanity that spins you around and over the side are waiting for you.
