Grandchildren got you climbing the walls? Why not do it literally? Face it (pun intended): there’s no better way to wear yourself and your rambunctious grandchildren out than to scramble for toeholds and footholds. This rock-climbing center features more than 14,000 square feet of wall for them to practice their spidey skills on. The climbs range from easy to challenging, and both you and the little monkeys are suited up in safety wear and supervised at all times, so you don’t have to worry about anyone falling to the floor from the rubber outcroppings. What you can count on is the kids expending a lot of that bored energy they’d ordinarily be applying to your king-size mattress. Classes and birthday parties are also offered.

Info: Daily climbing pass $15, monthly pass $45, 7-visit pass $76

Hours: Monday and Wednesday 3pm to 10pm, Friday 3pm to 11pm, Tuesday and Thursday 11am to 10pm, Saturday 10am to 10pm, Sunday 10am to 8pm

Age: Elementary (5-9), Tween (9-12), Teen (12+)
