Sometimes the best way to enjoy your grandchildren is just to hang out with them. If you're looking for a fun, funky, and relaxing place to do just that, you could do way worse than the Red Cup Coffee House. Smack in the middle of an enormous strip mall, the cafe with the huge red cup on its roof serves mostly vegetarian breakfast and lunch, but it's far from boring fare. There's everything from great sandwiches to Frito Chili Pie to Macho Nachos, not to mention original-recipes smoothies that every age will enjoy. And if you want to make an evening of it, there's live music on Thursday, Friday, and Satruday nights, too — jazz, rock, Celtic, you just never know. What a great place to while away a few hours with the young ones — just for fun.
