The Beethoven Maennerchor is one of the oldest German singing societies in Texas, and the Beethoven Halle und Garten (Home and Garden) is its headquarters and showplace. The Halle is home to a women's chorus, a children's chorus, the Beethoven Concert Band, the Beethoven Dance Band, and a German folk-dancing group. It's a wonderful and surprising place dedicated to the memory and the music of Ludwig von Beethoven. The Halle is also a space that hosts musical performances, including honky-tonk, classic rock and roll, cajun, and reggae. Check out the calendar.
