Skateboarding is definitely not a crime at the YMCA Krause Family Skate Park. This awesome, 50,000-square-foot park has ramps, pipes, bowls and drops. It’s also the training ground for a lot of pro athletes who practice here everyday, so even if you or your grandchildren aren’t quite ready to take in your own session, you can be inspired by one of theirs. Lessons are also available for beginners or those wanting to improve their skills. Keep in mind that it is mandatory that skaters bring their own protective gear: helmet, knee and elbow pads with a hard plastic exterior. Also, a parent or legal guardian must sign a waiver for children 18 and younger.
