Nature loving kids will feel right at home at the conservation promoting Richardson Bay Audubon Center & Sanctuary. It's a wildlife sanctuary made up of 900 acres of Bay waters and 11 acres of hills, teeming with rare birds and other widlife. An easy, half-mile looping hiking trail leads to two beaches that look out over the bay. There are many activities to engage you and your grandchildren at the Center, and they do a good job of instilling in kids their own responsibility, as human beings, for the future of the world. Check their website ahead of time for schedules on lectures and exhibitions.
