Lombard Street is the most crooked, but 22nd Street is the steepest street in town. It's like a roller-coaster for your car. The way to drive down it, if you want to mess with your grandchild a bit, is to slow to a crawl and inch your way to the edge. It will look (and feel) like you're driving off a cliff. Wait for the screams to die down and then repeat as necessary. This is best done during the day, and during the week, when other drivers won't be annoyed by your slow speed. Don't worry, this is perfectly safe.
