This lively farmers' market on Capitol Hill is a great place to take your grandchildren for a quick meal, snack, or practically anything else. Vendors sell everything from handmade soaps, to French cheeses, locally grown produce, and flowers. One section is entirely dedicated to arts and crafts, where you and your grandchildren can spend some time browsing local artists’ works and wares, from paintings to pottery. One of the main draws of the vast Eastern Market however, is the "Market Lunch," famous for its crab cakes, and blueberry pancakes!
