The skaterboys and skatergirls among your grandchildren can show you what they've got at a well-designed, well-lighted, and safely built Skate Park, one of the three owned and operated by the city itself. This all-concrete, quarter-acre park is actually two different areas — the Bowl for stunting, and the Urban Landscape, which includes street boxes, ramps, stairs, and all the landmarks and obstacles that make skateboarding worthwhile. The sport is amazing, strangely graceful, and exciting. And who knows ... you might even want to try it yourself!
