| As a Grandparent of 4 ages 2 1/2 to 13 and a stay at home grandma for the youngest, he gets away with a few things at our house that he may not at home and thats the way it ought to be. One thing that comes to mind is drinking or eating while watching t.v. He is very careful most of the time. I don't have carpet just wood and ceramic floors so to me its not a problem.

| The most important thing to our 9 year old granddaughter is cinnamon toast (5 pieces, no less) for breakfast. Also, it's always grilled cheese for dinner no matter what we're eating. We also watch a lot of older children's tv series on DVD, i.e., Christy, later than we should, and they don't even watch tv at home. Spoiling is great!

| I like to let my grandchildren stay up as late as they'd like to, (on weekends, of course). I also bring them goodies that their parents don't normally buy them. (Gramma brought health food.:)

| I really do try to follow the rules, but like I tell my grandchildren there are Mommy and Daddy's rules and then there are mine. Like if you can't quite finish what is on your plate, in the trash it goes. Letting them pick anything on the menu ( not keeping with the children's) Staying up later then usual is a really good one. It gives us lots of time to chat. Eating in front of the T.V. once in a while. After all they are only small once! Granny8
