What is the greatest thing about being a grandparent?

My Granddaughter, Peyton Lynn arrived on July 13, 2008 at 9:43 am, weighing in at 5 lbs 15 oz and measured 18 1/2 inches. I was blessed to be there and see her birth. What a precious miracle she is! The best part was watching my son fall in love with his little girl and seeing my beautiful daughter in law finally hold that precious baby she waited so long for.

I am a married mother of 7 children, 6 boys and 1 girl. I'm not, I guess, you're average grandparent as I still have young children of my own at home. My oldest son (Peytons Daddy) is 22 and my youngest child is 2 (she was born on my son's 20th birthday!) Not what we planned but feel very blessed with the family we have.
