What is the greatest thing about being a grandparent?
It took me a while to accept being a grandparent because I related it to "getting old". But after he arrived, there is nothing like it. We are very close to him, as he spends every other weekend with us since he was a month old. I wanted him to know who we were and wanted to be part of his life. To many kids don't really know their grandparents, but Ethan KNOWS us. He just turned a year old in Dec. and we have watched him grow. From sitting up to crawling, to walking and now trying to talk. His first word was da-da, then mom, then Gugh for Granny. He has not mastered the 2 sylabuls yet, but just starting. I was thrilled.
Don't let anyone tell you being a grandparent is not wonderful....I could never have imagined it could be this great.
If you want to get to know me, I would start by telling you...
