What is the greatest thing about being a grandparent?
I cannot put into words how I feel....He makes my heart smile...I love watching him, but most of all I love watching my daughter. This little man..my joy, my love,...has brought my daughter and I closer than ever...even more than I expected. What a wonderful feeling to know that he is in my life forever.
If you want to get to know me, I would start by telling you...
I am 55 years old..married to a wonderful man...we have 3 children aboy 28 (single any good catches???) my married daughter 24,and our youngest a 19 year old who happens to also be a diabetic....I work full time. I love my job and my daughter ( who is the mommy) has just begun to work for me as well. I am an RN, AMT and have a BS degree. I now am out of clinical work and run 3 office practices...we are cardiologist specializing in cardiovascular disease and interventional cardiology. My mother in law is wonderful, she lives 1 mile from us and my Dad lives about 20 minutes away..he is not that healthy and must live in an assissted living facility...but I am so lucky to have him...For the most part my life is full and wonderful. But like all of us we have ups and downs. I am grateful for my family and friends...but mostly grateful for that little boy my grandson Luke, who brings joy when we have saddness and love to all of us.
