What is the greatest thing about being a grandparent?

Seeing the wonderful traits in our son passed down to his daughters. Unconditional love. The wonderfully, stress free time we have with our granddaughters and being able to have the time and patience with them that we weren't able to have in years past with our son.

my husband and I have been married for 32 years. We have one son, who is currently serving his 2nd tour in Iraq. He has blessed us with 2 beautiful granddaughters, Alexzayna 6 and Audrianna 10. Since they live on the west coast and we live in the midwest, we only visit a couple times a year. But it is a wonderful visit and we live for those couple of weeks.
