Lemon Lip Gloss

Kristina Fitzhugh, editor of online directory Spa Index, shared this popular recipe. This lip gloss is great for little girls who are crazy about makeup and grandparents who aren't ready to see their darlings with ruby-red lips.

Materials:

• 1 teaspoon honey
• 1 tablespoon vitamin E oil
• 1 teaspoon aloe vera
• 2 teaspoons grated beeswax
• 1 tablespoon pure almond extract
• 6 drops lemon essential oil

Instructions:

1. Melt the beeswax in a double boiler, remove from the heat and, while stirring constantly, add the honey, aloe vera, almond extract, and vitamin E.
2. Add the lemon essential oil last, let the mixture cool and pucker up.
