Materials: - Soft sponge
- Scrubby sponge
- Cardboard
- Masking tape
- Scissors
- Pencil
- Paint tray
Instructions:1. Sponge Stamp: Cut various shapes out of soft sponges. Dip these into paint that has been poured into a tray, and use as a stamp. A square or rectangular stamp is good for drawing walls or buildings made of blocks.
2. Scrubby Paintbrush: Cut a small piece of scrubby sponge. Wrap it around the tip of a pencil, and secure tightly with masking tape. When you paint a smooth area of color with a regular paintbrush, use the scrubby paintbrush to scratch away the paint and make an interesting texture. The scrubby paintbrush is an excellent tool for drawing trees and bushes.
3. Cardboard Combs: Make "teeth" by cutting notched edges in little squares of cardboard. Cut a few different ones, with "teeth," in different widths and spaces. Cardboard combs are great for drawing raindrops and anything with stripes.

I will have to try that 3-D glasses thing! That sounds fun for my granddaughter. Thanks!
I love this one. I am sending myself a link to the page so I can refer back to it next summer. The chalk is just brilliant.
Did you know that 3-D glasses will work on any colored chalk that a child draws with? The picture comes to life on the sidewalk. We have tried it!
