Tree Hole String Game

If you do this right, you will end up with what looks like a hole, a sun, or a moon in the center of your string. You may need someone to help you maneuver the strings.

Here’s how to do it:

1. Loop the string (still tied together) on the thumbs, pinkies, and index fingers of both hands. Twist the string once between your thumbs and index fingers, and once between your pinkies and index fingers.

2. Take the loops of string off  index fingers and turn them halfway toward you. Place them back on fingers.

3. Put thumbs through the loops of string on the index finger, then make sure the string is still on the fingers. Move the loop of string on the pinkies down through the loop on the index fingers. You can use the thumbs to help move the loop through.

4. Release the string on the index fingers to create the tree hole, sun, or moon image in the center.
