Fun Recipe Ideas for Marshmallows

Get the kids cooking creatively with marshmallows — mini or jumbo

Here are just a few fun marshmallow ideas to inspire you:

  1. Stir marshmallows into peanut butter for peanut butter mallow sandwiches.
  2. Mix marshmallows with fresh fruit for topping pancakes, waffles or French toast.
  3. Use marshmallows, other candies and toothpicks to create edible marshmallow people.
  4. Float marshmallows on hot cocoa (always a classic!).
  5. Stir marshmallows and nuts into warm melted chocolate and make marshmallow bark.
  6. Make a marshmallow fruit frosting by stirring together marshmallows, whipped topping and chopped fruit. (Great on birthday cakes and bake sale cupcakes.)
  7. Toss marshmallows into your kids’ favorite trail mix.
  8. Place a miniature marshmallow in the bottom of an ice cream cone to prevent melted ice cream drips.
  9. Toss into any fruit salad.
  10. Use marshmallows to decorate oatmeal and frosted desserts.
